Buscemi Hallett LLP (www.buhalaw.com) was formed in 2012 by founding partners Michael Buscemi and David Hallett. Mike and David first worked together at the San Diego law firm of Grimm, Vranjes, McCormick & Graham LLP in the Insurance Coverage practice group representing some of the largest national and international insurance and reinsurance conglomerates. In 2005 Mike went on to work with renowned insurance coverage Attorney Paul Hilding handling insurance coverage matters on behalf of policyholders exclusively. In 2012 Mike and David rejoined forces to form Buscemi Hallett LLP to serve the insurance needs of individuals and businesses throughout California and nationally.
Today, Buscemi Hallett LLP is a litigation firm that focuses on Insurance Coverage matters, Business Litigation and Construction Disputes. The firm emphasizes aggressive, ethical representation of their clients through trial. Mike and David pride themselves in working collaboratively with the attorneys and support staff at the firm to provide the very best legal representation, routinely handling 8-figure cases on behalf of some of the largest companies within the practice group industries, including insurance, energy, franchises and representation of construction and design professionals.
The work culture at Buscemi Hallett LLP is based on a healthy work-life balance as Mike and David (both husbands and fathers) believe that attorneys perform best and are ultimately able to deliver optimal results to the firm's clients when the employees are able to enjoy balanced personal time outside the office. This time away is important not only to provide rest and restoration, but allows for creativity to infuse the practice which is absolutely key on the high stakes, closely-fought, 50/50 coinflip cases which keep most attorneys awake at night. Quite literally, Mike and David have successfully litigated multi-million-dollar cases on the placement of a comma in a contract. Having that level of awareness, strategic planning and winning execution can only come about when the team is fresh, rested and working from a positive mindset.
